Wisdom Circle: The Goddess in Clay
We will meet in the circle to work with and design in an incredible material that Mother Earth has given us, clay. We will work together to shape a female figure that can become our own expression of the Goddess. After a short introduction to clay and shaping methods, we will let creativity take center stage on this day.
Clay working tools and other materials are available. The clay we work with is stoneware clay which must subsequently be fired twice.
Tea, coffee, and snacks will be provided.
Looking forward to a wonderful creative day where we honor the gifts of our Earth!

Cost: 15 Euro cost of supplies only (1 kg stoneware clay, glaze, and 2 x firing)
Hostess: Kirsten
Kirsten Mus was born in Denmark and has lived in Crete since 1986. She is an artist who works with the mediums of glass, ceramics and tapestries. Her greatest inspiration is from the many archaeological artefacts that Crete is full of, and in general, her life here in Crete. Her art is deeply influenced by these.
